How to get rid of acne fast?

i have had acne for 5 years now. i have been on retina micro cream since my acne started, it has not got much better. i was put on tazorac cream but that didn't help either. i was also put on a topical antibiotic duac which also did nothing. i was recently put on minocycline (oral antibiotic). i have been on it for about 3 weeks. i have seen some improvement but i still have acne, its moderate to severe. my derm wont put me on accutane, and i am getting a cortizone shot next appt. i have gotten to the point where i will do anything to get rid of it. its really stressful because i am always self conscious, i just want to have clear skin, please help!! i will do anything
