How to get this girl? (short i promise)?

i used to be really good friends with this girl about a year ago, and then we hadn't talked for about a year because she moved schools, we started talking again and we are both going through hard times both similar so i thought i could maybe use that to my advantage, we are still friends. how should i come about to getting her?
