Tennis grip question? important pls?

hi could you pls tell me everything about tennis grips- its names-like semi weastern, advantages/disadvantages of using them,,, how to hold each grip,,,,,, and pls could you tell me what kind of grip im using if i hold the tennis racket so that the bottom of my hand is touching the tennis cap?
