Contact Lenses - please help!?

I have had contacts for about 2 weeks now, so I am still a rookie at taking them in and out. 2 times when taking them out on my right eye I have accidentally touch the retina of my eye... I have cleaning my hands and all... but it stings because I have accidentally poked my eye, will this cause any permanent damage?
