Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy Pro?

Alright. I'll be honest. I am currently using a Nokia 5233. Before this I was using a Nokia 5310. Before that a nokia 5300. You get the point. I have never used an android before. I was willing to buy the Nexus S for INR 19999, but I've never used an android before, so I thought I wouldn't be able to utilize it well. So, I decided to just test android. I have reduced my budget to about 10K. The best phone I'm currently seeing is the Galaxy Pro for 8.5K. I'm considering it because i love the qwerty keypad and the 2.8 screen is large enough on a qwerty. Also the 800Mhz CPU (which is the same as the Ace i think) will make it zippy. I'm just worried about the screen resolution. Is it that bad? Or are all tech sites ruined by the iPhone's Retina display and Samsung's SuperAmoled? Please help me.
