IPod touch Screen Protector Help?

I got a new Screen Protector For my iPod touch, but it had a series of problems. First it brought Dots to the screen, i Don't know how to describe it. Second it messed up with the Retina Display. What Screen Protector do you suggest? I want it to be as though there's nothing on it.
