Is it normal for the guy to be THIS lenient when picking date spots?:)?

It's our first time hanging out/date one-on-one, we are already sure we both like eachother, and he wants ME to pick the spot because he is happy whenever I am happy. This is sooo sweet of him, but I want his opinion too:) What should I do? Should i just take his politeness to my advantage :)? (Well, not my advantage, but, yknow:))
