How good does your eye vision have to be to become a retinal eye surgeon?

I have had retina detachment surgery 3 times in my left eye, and I will be going for my 4th and final surgery in the summer. I want to become a retinal surgeon when I'm older and just need to know if it's possible. Thanks in advance!
