Senior citizens, do you ever say stupid things, like insert foot into mouth?

I went to my eye surgeon today to have the pressure checked on my retina after retinal sugary. There is a bubble in my eye that I can see, but not through it. He asked me how the bubble in my eye was doing, and I said, "well it's entertaining, I like to bounce my head and watch it jiggle!". He didn't say any thing, just looked at me funny. Last time I was there, before second surgery, he asked when I could plan the repair. I said, " Oh, sometime after September!". He says, "after September?". I said, " yeah, I want to go camping.". He asks, "you are going camping that long?". I said, "no....ummmm". I kind of find humor in things instead of getting all anxious and fretty, so some things I say or do seem off the wall to serious people. I know I mentioned the camping thing on here before, but today was another day and another foot insertion. Ahhhh!
