I am sure that you are not going blind and I think I may have answered this before but here goes. LOL No, you are not going blind and it is probably not retinal detachment but if you are concerned you should make an appointment with an eye doctor. I would think that you are actually having a focusing problem due to eye strain and yes, the PC does make it worse. In the meantime you can check this by going to the store and trying on cheater glasses in varying strengths until you find the one that stops the double vision. Then you can purchase a pair until you can get to the doctor. I am wearing a pair right now.LOL Good luck and no worries
