Should i get an iPod touch 4th gen?

I have a jailbroken itouch 2nd gen and lots of cool paid apps but my B-day is coming up and im not sure if i should ask for the new ipod... so i u could help me decide if its worth it... also how could is facetime? i dont have any friends who have it (at least not yet). and what about the retina display? and are the other features worth the price? thanks and uf you find any good deals for it used then that would be appreciated
