If you wanted Margarito banned from boxing, did Pacquiao did you a favor?

Obviously if Pacquiao hadn't fought him he would have probably continued boxing he fought Roberto Garcia in Mexico prior to Pacquiao. Now that he couldn't box due to that detached retina does it make you happier that he couldn't hurt any fighters anymore?
